Pastor Gay Blau has been an ordained United Methodist Pastor since 1988. She is married to Pastor Matthew Blau who pastors at Arlington UMC. They have 4 adult children
Pastor Gay grew up in Kane, Pa. She has a BA in Spanish Education and Religion from Grove City College in Grove City, Pa. and a Master's of Divinity from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Oh.
Pastor can't remember a time in her life when she wasn't in church. At the age of 12 the Gospel message spoke to her heart and she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord. She is passionate about sharing in people's lives and helping them to know the love and peace of Christ. Because she became a Christian at a young age, her ministry has always had a strong focus on building up the faith of children and teens.
Other life experiences have given her a heart for the poor and hurting. She believes that nothing is impossible for God, and encourages those whom she meets to dream God sized dreams and believe that God will lead them. Her joy in serving the Lord causes her to continually invite others into the exploration of their own callings from God.
